Youtube Music has finally received the update that we were eagerly waiting for. In a recent update, the YouTube Music Add to playlist has been expanded, which means that now you can add entire albums to your existing playlists. Now the Add to playlist button appears in the overflow menu and isn’t restricted by the content you are listening to. Previously, one had to add each track individually to the already existing playlist. Not only that, you can even add a new playlist to the already existing one as well.
The update was much awaited since YouTube Music lacked this very basic feature. It was surprising, in the first place, to see the lack of features at the time of the YouTube Music launch. However, one by one the features are making their way into the app. Last month YouTube Music added UI tweaks and Queue changes and Sonos speaker integration and now with the update of Add to playlist button has been updated, it appears YouTube Music is finally catching up.
With the addition of new features such as the one mentioned above, YouTube Music has improved the service. The Add to playlist button comes with version 2.69 in both Android and iOS versions of YouTube Music. The update hasn’t made it to the web yet, however, we assume that it will soon roll out.
