Rockman X Dive is an action game based on the original Mega Man X series. A beta version was released by Capcon earlier in August and after almost two months of testing the final version is out. The extensive beta phase appears to have helped dev meet the shortcoming since there are lots of improvements and new characters in the final release. Based on the popular series, Rockman X Dive aims to provide the players with the most authentic Mega Man experience on their handheld devices. Rockman X Dive is out in the app stores and you can easily install it on your Android device via Google Play store. While the mobile game looks promising, what about PC fans of Megaman? Well, the good news is that you can download the Android version of Rockman X Dive for PC and Laptop.

The latest Rockman X Dive game is originally developed for the Android devices and unfortunately, there isn’t any PC release. However, that doesn’t mean you cannot play Rockman X Dive on big screens. Due to Android OS’s portability, you can install and play Rockman X Dive on PCs. All you need is an Android Emulator and you are good to go. It is an app that sets up an Android platform on your Windows running PC/Laptop and OS X powered Macbook/iMac.

Gameplay

Rockman X Dive revolves around the popular Megaman universe and captures the authentic action of the original series. The plot is quite interesting as it focuses a deep log in the cyberspace that brings irregularities in the data. And the gameplay is about players getting to rectify the normalities. It sounds confusing so, don’t bother wasting time and get the game going, you will get the idea along the way. Rockman X Dive perfectly represents the authentic action sequences of the original Megaman X series. In the final release, aside from the ability to jump, dash, and saber, Capcom has added an “Auto-Lock on” and “360-Degree Shooting“, which come quite handy on the field.

All the characters of the Mega Max X series are here in Rockman X Dive albeit repainted in a new style. You get to play with some of the classic characters in their new looks. Same is the case with weapons, aside from the usual buster, saber, machine gun and sprayer, there are new categories of weapons that you can beat your enemies with. Another key thing about Rockman X Dive is that it brings the original BGM of each stage with the new arrangement. Then there is a Battle Mode where you can cultivate the characters and lead them in the battles. PvP mode, on the other hand, is all about competing in 1v1 or 3v3 battles. To sum it all up, Rockman X Dive looks quite impressive with all its original features and improved gameplay. Even if you aren’t a Megaman X series fan, give it a shot.
