If you are using multiple camera devices with the HeimLink app, you might it difficult to track the feed from all on the small screen of your handheld devices. Now you might think of installing the app on your PC or Laptop, which gives you the screen-space to view the feed in an efficient manner. Note that HeimLink is aimed at Android and iOS and therefore, you cannot install it on PC/Laptop, the way you do it on your handheld devices. Having said that, there is a way around that allows you to install the Android version of the HeimLink app and use it on the big screens of PCs and Laptops.

How to set up an Android Emulator

As previously mentioned, you can install the Android HeimLink app on PC/Laptop, however, given the difference in the OSes, first, you will have to set up an Android OS. And that’s where the Emulators come in. For newbies these are virtual machines that basically set up Android OS platform on top of Windows and OS X OSes as an app. Once you have the platform set and running, you can easily install and use the HeimLink on big screens. Here’s how you can install and set up the Emulator.

  1. The very first thing you need is to download the Emulator you see fit.
  2. On Windows, you can download BlueStacks 4 using the links below.

  4. Next, install the emulator on your PC or Laptop.
  5. To set up the Emulator, sign in using your Google Account. If you do not have one, you can sign up for it for free.

  1. Launch the Emulator and Open the Play Store in it.
  2. In the play store search bar, type “HeimLink” without quotes and press the Enter key.
  3. Next, install the HeimLink app via the Emulator.
  4. Once installed, you will find HeimLink under the All Apps section of Emulator. That’s it.

While running HeimLink PC on big screens, keep in mind that it will not work system-wide and you must open it inside the BlueStacks or Nox Player.
