How to download Dota Underlords for PC and Laptop
The long wait is over, Valve has finally released the beta version of its awaited Dota Underlords. The release was surprising as it came without any big announcement. The beta version is out for everyone and you can get it easily for handheld devices via play store. There is still no word on the official release. However, considering the beta release, it would be safe to assume that Dota Underlords will hit the shelves soon. Dota Underlords is basically Valve’s version of the Auto Chess, where multiple opponents face each other in strategic battles. Now that the beta is out and available in the app stores, it would be perfect to test it out on big screens. You can easily download and install the Android version of Dota Underlords for PC or Laptop.
With this beta release, Valve wants to hit two birds with one stone. Firstly, it wants to test the features that are part of the beta release and how the crossplay progresses across the devices. Secondly, Valve plans to collect the feedback of players to work on the Season One of Dota Underlords. It has even incorporated a dedicated ‘Submit Feedback’ button, which you can use to share your thoughts on the game. Coming back to the PCs, now that beta is out, you can try the Android version out on big screens. It’s quite easy, all you need is an Android Emulator to install and run Dota Underlords on PC or Laptop. Don’t fret if you are a newbie, we have got you all covered. However, before we get into the instructions, you might want to have a look at the gameplay.
An Overview of Gameplay
Dota Underlords is developed pretty much on the theme of Auto Chess and it would be fair to call it as Valve’s adaptation of Auto Chess. The gameplay is unique in a number of ways from the traditional strategy games. Eight players battle against each other until one of them is left, who takes control of White Spire. This means, in the beginning, you will be on par with seven different opponents. After every turn, you will face a random opponent from the lot. At first, you are given access to a limited number of pieces, which are basically the fighters. Each piece is part of a class that comes with a unique skill set.
In total, there are five different classes. As you progress in the game, you are given the freedom to choose your pieces out of these five classes. Also, there is an Offline mode with 4 levels of difficulty where you can hone your skills. Aside from that, you can take part in the tournament, create private lobbies, and invite spectators to watch the fierce competitions. Another point worth mentioning about Dota Underlords is that the progress you make in the game is synced across the devices. For instance, if you have started a match on your PCs (PC version), you can switch over to your handheld devices and finish it.
